One of the major events of the year saw many talented Berkshire Juniors and a number of out-of-county entrants battle it out for precious qualifying places at the London Junior Championships as well as trophies and cash prizes.

For many, this will have been the first time that they have experienced longer time controls, but they soon found the extra time available to them could be put to good use.

Thank you to Abbey Junior for making such an excellent venue available. And Tunstall's Toasties proved as popular as ever!
